ONLINE ACROSS VERMONT, MARYLAND, & NEW YORK
You might not have the words for what’s wrong. And honestly?
You’re not sure you want to talk about all of it anyway.
You’re the one people count on—at work and in relationships. You try to show up the “right” way—calm, understanding, in control—even when your internal world feels messy or chaotic. And maybe you’ve tried therapy before. You’ve done the reflecting, the analyzing, the working-on-yourself. Maybe it helped… but you’re still carrying what feels like a heavy weight on your shoulders.
It might feel like your body is shutting down—the anxiety, emotional exhaustion, or the effects of trauma you’ve never really named. You’re realizing you need something different, something that stops the mental, physical, and emotional interruptions that seem to keep hijacking your life.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy is an evidence-based method that helps your brain and body process the stuff that’s been stuck—without needing you to explain it all or relive it out loud. It’s structured, but flexible, effective but gentle, and can be a deeply empowering way to feel real, lasting change.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a good fit for those who…
Want to heal from trauma quickly and effectively.
Are ready to address symptoms such as PTSD, chronic anxiety, or phobias.
Don’t want homework between sessions.
Are experiencing flashbacks, disrupted sleep, hypervigilance, or reminders related to trauma.
Prefer not to engage in traditional talk therapy.
Have ongoing issues like OCD, eating disorder thoughts, or addiction.

My Approach
Heal at an accelerated pace—without having to revisit every detail.
Instead of focusing just on thoughts and beliefs, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) zeroes in on images, sensations, and symptoms. It’s designed to get to the root of something and help shift it quickly, and with less talking. If there’s something that keeps looping—an image, a feeling, a reaction that doesn’t make logical sense—this is often where we start. You can’t “think” your way out of trauma, and with ART, you don’t have to.
ART uses a few specific tools: bilateral stimulation (usually eye movements or tapping), visualization (creating new, calming images or perspectives), and checking in with your body. I’ll guide you through the steps, and you stay in control the whole time. We move at your pace, and I’ll be with you through all of it, helping you track what’s coming up, what’s shifting, and what feels different. I might ask things like, “Where do you feel that in your body?” or “How does it feel to notice that?”—because we’re not just working with your thoughts. We’re working with your whole nervous system.
Some people feel major relief after just one session. Others need more time, especially if we’re working with complex or layered experiences. Either way, the process is collaborative. There’s no right or wrong way to do this. If something doesn’t make sense or you feel unsure, we’ll pause. We can go back, go slower, or try something different.
My role is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and fully supported as we engage in this work. When things begin to shift, it can be surprisingly powerful, like releasing a weight you didn’t even realize you’d been carrying for so long. That’s the kind of meaningful change we’re working toward—the kind of change you deserve.
Accelerated Resolution therapy can help you…
Feel lighter, calmer, and more in control of your life.
Shed the identities shaped by past trauma and step into a version of yourself that feels true to you.
Stop being bothered by old problems and find more peace.
Break free from the things that have been holding you back and start living the life you want.
Clear out the mental clutter and make room for real joy.
The guiding principle of ART is:
Keep the knowledge.
Lose the pain.
Take your power back from the past.

Common questions about ART
-
One of the unique aspects of ART is its ability to create rapid change. Many clients experience significant relief after just one session, especially if the issue is something like a phobia or a single traumatic event. Of course, if your challenges are more complex or involve long-standing trauma, you might need a few sessions to fully resolve everything. But the goal is to help you feel better faster and more effectively than traditional therapy alone.

While many of my clients see improvement with a session, it’s normal for some issues, especially complex trauma, to take a bit more time. If this happens, we’ll continue to work together to address whatever’s still lingering. ART is designed to make the process quick, but it’s also flexible enough to support deeper, more lasting change.

Yes! ART isn’t just for trauma—it can be helpful for a variety of challenges, including anxiety, OCD, eating disorder thoughts, phobias, and even addiction. The techniques work to clear out the emotional charge behind these issues, so you can start living with more peace and with less stress or overwhelm.
